Nestled in the heart of North Carolina, the Piedmont Triad area offers affordable living in historic communities and a thriving economy. The Triad comprises Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, and Kernersville, giving you lots to explore in your new home.
High Point was the first city on the East Coast to earn a designation as a Certified Autism Destination. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you can work and live in an inclusive community.

A Career That Makes an Impact
At ABS Kids, we offer more than just jobs. We provide opportunities for real career impact. Becoming a part of our team means joining a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Your work as a Behavior Analyst will have direct, measurable effects on the lives of those you care for.
We partner with local organizations, like the Autism Society of North Carolina, to bring awareness and acceptance into the community.
Our competitive salary, monthly bonus structure, and robust benefits package are just the start of a great career with ABS Kids. BCBAs are also eligible for a Lifestyle Spending Account, a flexible benefit where your hard work turns into cash to use for expenses like a massage, food delivery, gym memberships, and so much more!
Why Piedmont Triad?
- Affordable Living
Known for affordable housing and rent pricing, the Triad region is a hidden gem in North Carolina. Even though the region has more than one million people combined, residents enjoy costs at five percent lower than the national average.
- Inclusive Place to Work and Play
ABS Kids is proud to serve the community in and out of our Centers. With High Point’s designation, there are plenty of places children and adults with autism can feel welcome and included.
- Something for Everyone
While often grouped together, each city offers its own rich history and identity. From the North Carolina Zoo to the World’s Largest Chest of Drawers (yes, that is a real record!), your weekends can be filled with exploring your new home year-round.
- A Breath of Fresh Air
The region also has plenty of parks, gardens, and outdoor celebrations to get some Carolina blue skies. While it may be in the heart of the Tarheel state, it’s just a short drive to the mountains or the beach. No landlocked feelings here!
