This image features a promotional graphic for ABS Kids, celebrating Black History Month with the text "Voices from the 2023 BABA Conference." The graphic showcases a profile for Erica Romero and includes the logos for ABS Kids and BABA. The text emphasizes the importance of diverse voices in the autism community and highlights the conference's focus on inclusion and advocacy. The bold, clean design stands out against a black background, creating a striking visual for the event.

As ABS Kids celebrates Black History Month, we are thrilled to share the experiences of some of our own people.

Last year, ABS Kids sponsored four providers to attend the Black Applied Behavior Analysts (BABA) Conference in Detroit. Each of our providers had unique experiences that are helping them shape their careers in ABA.

The BABA Conference is essential for promoting diversity, creating a supportive community, addressing challenges, and advancing the field of ABA through the contributions of Black professionals.

This week, we chatted with Erica Romero, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, about her experience at the conference and how she is applying what she learned to her work at ABS Kids.
